Available for new roles

Hi, my name is

Daniel Mandelli.

React apps, crypto wallets, and sites that ship.

> specializing in React apps

6+ years shipping production React apps. Currently building a multi-chain crypto wallet. Looking for a great frontend or full-stack team.

01 / About

A bit about me

I'm a frontend engineer with 6+ years building React and React Native apps in production. I care about the stuff that's easy to skip: clean component architecture, state that doesn't fight you, and interfaces that feel fast on real devices in real conditions.

For the past two years I've been working on Internet Money, a self-custody crypto wallet that runs as both a Chrome extension and a React Native app. It supports multiple chains, cross-chain swaps, native Bitcoin, and fiat on-ramps. I also run WebWise Technology, my own web studio. I handle everything from first call to launch day, and stay on for hosting and maintenance after.

I'm looking for a frontend or full-stack role where the team actually cares about what they're building. Remote is my preference, open to hybrid. Web3 background is something I bring to the table, but it's not what I'm limited to.

Computer engineering gave me a foundation that goes below the software layer. I think that background shows up in how I approach performance problems and architecture decisions.

Where I've worked

Software Engineer @ Decentralized Innovations

March 2024 – Present

Building Internet Money, a self-custody multi-chain crypto wallet available as a Chrome extension and React Native app.

  • Implemented a MetaMask-compatible EIP-1193 provider so existing dApps connect to the wallet without any changes on their end.
  • Added native Bitcoin support alongside EVM chains, which meant reconciling UTXO and account-based transaction models in the same codebase.
  • Wired in cross-chain swaps via ChangeNow and fiat on/off-ramps via Guardarian so users never have to leave the app.
  • Built and maintained the backend in TypeScript, Node.js and Express with a PostgreSQL database managed through Knex migrations.
  • Owned the iOS and Android release process end to end, coordinating deploys across Ethers.js, Viem, Wagmi, and AppKit.

Founder / Web Developer @ Webwise Technology

January 2023 – Present

My own web studio. I work directly with clients to design, build, and launch their sites, then stay on to keep them running.

  • Shipped static and dynamic sites across a range of stacks: custom React builds, WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce depending on what the project actually needed.
  • Built out backend APIs with Node.js and Express, used Next.js for SSR on projects with heavier data requirements.
  • Handled DevOps myself: Docker for service management, Bash scripts for deployment automation, cPanel/WHM for hosting.
  • Handle all client communication, project scoping, and post-launch support. No account managers in the middle.

Software Engineer @ Vector Software

January 2019 – September 2022

Full-stack engineering on VectorCAST, an automated testing platform for safety-critical embedded software, in East Greenwich, RI.

  • Worked primarily in Python and C++ to extend VectorCAST/Coupling, a tool used for testing complex multi-unit software interactions.
  • Rebuilt parts of the Qt 4/5 frontend in C++ to address usability issues that had accumulated over time.
  • Designed and built reporting UIs in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that made test output actually readable.
  • Wrote unit and system test suites in Python that caught real regressions and cut down on manual QA time.
